Our CEO and President, Joe Mulieri, spent 26 years as an executive at a major U.S. corporation. After completing his career in the private sector, Joe became interested in air quality issues, specifically mold and its effects on health.
That interest led Joe to get certified as a Mold Inspector and Remediator. The quality of his work and the thoroughness of his process quickly set MoldGone apart. Because of Joe's business ethics, MoldGone grew in reputation and expanded its service areas throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Today, MoldGone employs 11 full-time staff members. All inspectors and management hold degrees from four-year institutions, and our certifications and credentials are among the highest and most respected in the industry.

Every member of our leadership team brings hands-on experience in mold remediation, construction, and project management.

After Joe's son Mike earned his Master's Degree in Business from Loyola University, he became Chief Operations and Financial Officer of MoldGone. A certified mold inspector and remediator, Mike has managed over 300 small and large remediation projects and continually advances his knowledge of mold treatment techniques.

A close family friend who joined as MoldGone grew, Jon helped expand the company across Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Together with Joe and Mike, he keeps the business focused on the ethics and quality that earned its reputation.
